Sustainability at Sunbelt Rentals
At Sunbelt Rentals we are committed to acting responsibly. It’s in our DNA, so much so that ‘being responsible’ is one of our core values. Everything we do is ‘the right thing for our people, our customers, our communities and our planet’.
Our Sustainability Plan 2025 is aligned with eight of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. We are striving to create social impact, report social value and achieve lasting legacies through our day to day work. We are already making a big difference in these areas, but through our strategy are focused on achieving more.
Sustainability Strategy 2025
Our Sustainability Strategy 2025 will be published here on an annual basis. It contains a summary of our recent and intended social impact activity, as well as responsible business owners and annual targets from 2020 until 2025 across four key areas. These are:

Supply Chain Sustainability School
Our partnership with the Supply Chain Sustainability School helps us work collaboratively with our customers, and supply chain. We are active members of the Plant Group, developing industry-led best practice initiatives with our peers.
Brighter Days Volunteering Project
When Sunbelt Rentals launched in June 2020, we formally launched our Brighter Days volunteering project, allowing all of our team up to two fully paid days per year on community initiatives. Brighter Days can be spent on any community initiatives which our people feel passionate about, either as one-off events or more regular commitments for example by acting on committees.
Ray of Light Employee Giving Programme
Sunbelt Rentals is in the process of setting up the ‘Sunbelt Ray of Light’ charity, as well as an Employee Giving Programme. The charity will help us create a fund to support team-mates who find themselves or their families facing life-changing challenges. Our employees will also have the opportunity to support registered charities of their choice.
