This THR V2 hydraulic rail tensor was designed for the release of stresses in long welded rails (LRS) and intended for use on a rail infrastructure. By default, the tensor must be used on top of the rail and can work in traction as well as thrust. The hydraulic rail tensor can also be used when creating a glued insulating join, or to reduce deficiencies during maintenance operations.

  • Light rail tensor compatible with networks supplied by a third rail. It has recently been approved for the London Metro
  • The components of the kit can be assembled in less than 2 minutes with 2 operators, making you gain in productivity
  • The installation of the tensor is done above the rail head, which does not involve ballast ploughing or lifting and moving the rail
  • There is no risk of the rail slipping during operation by a mechanical, not hydraulic clamping system
